Principal's Message

As the Psalmist says "Give thanks to the Lord, For He is good", I give thanks to the Lord for His grace and blessings showered on our college and each one of us. Welcome to Holy Cross College! In the cause of education for 100 years and beyond: Our college with a centenary old-mission of integrated education, marches into the next century with its charisma to consistently build intellectually comprehensive, community inclusive, artistically excellent, emotionally enabled, eco-centric, spiritually rooted and socially empathetic young minds with skilled graduate attributes. It is indeed a remarkable milestone of 100 years in the road of excellence in serving the society with highest standards of service, commitment and dedication. We thank God for his blessings and we are grateful to everyone who has made this journey significant and memorable. The seeds sown by our visionary Mother Sophie 100 years ago have now grown to benefit and empower tens of thousands of young minds to make the world better for everyone. The Holy Crossian spirit is finely-woven with the contribution and deep-concern of all the Sisters of the Cross of Chavanod, dedicated and resourceful band of teaching faculty and industrious non-teaching staff who joyfully and tirelessly work to create a student centric, educational atmosphere to groom graduates with civic – consciousness and spiritual vitality. Keeping abreast of the technological revolution that marks the education 4.0 learning curve, we forge forward to educate the heart of the student with competence, character and compassion. We model an academic ambience for every student to choose integrity over vanity, to be empowered with diligence and balance, to be and become a Holy Crossian of Excellence, who is locally and socially relevant and also internationally proficient. With the same Holy Crossian spirit we will carry forward the baton of quality education with inclusiveness, innovation and synergy to educate the students with knowledge, competencies, skills and ethical value. A new horizon awaits us to fare forward and onward with zeal and commitment to continue the noble service of education and empowerment of women for nation building. The NAAC peer team visit for onsite assessment for IV cycle of Accreditation was held on 11th & 12th February 2020. Holy Cross College received A++ Grade with 3.75/4.
