Holy Cross College (Autonomous), Tiruchirappalli, your Alma Mater has celebrated a magnificent milestone of 100 years in its yeoman service to society in the field of higher education by enlightening and empowering young girls to utilize the knowledge gained and potential skills acquired here, to become women achievers in various fields of life.

The Holy Crossian Alumnae that has grown from strength to strength has spread its wings far and wide across the globe through you dear Alumnae, who are a great asset to your Alma Mater. You have carried the name and fame of Holy Cross College to different parts of the world through your value-based education, commitment, and quality performance that are reflected in several positions of responsibility and repute held wherever you are placed in diverse organizations.

The Alumnae have been molded by Holy Cross College to face promising tomorrows, braving the storms of the past and the present with the three important values of Competence, Character, and Compassion. As the Principal of Holy Cross College, Trichy, I am honored and happy to appreciate and thank the committed band of our Alumnae who are rooted in the Holy Crossian Spirit of togetherness and reveal a deep sense of belongingness through the personal and spiritual bonding with your Alma Mater, that persists down the years.

To think of the Alumnae is to recall the Holy Crossian Alumnae reunions either in person or through virtual mode. It is a time when we go down memory lane with spontaneous overflow of powerful feelings and memories of the golden yester years spent at Holy Cross College with knowledge inputs not only for prospective careers but also values for life and time spent combined with fun and frolic. The education gained in a healthy vibrant academic ambience has enabled the Holy Crossians to excel in their life and career.

The aim of our Alumnae Meet is to establish a dynamic global network of Holy Crossians who are active ambassadors of our College, who strive to accomplish the mission of the college to empower others and thus be change makers in society. This mode of reaching out to others in society is your way of expressing gratitude to your Alma Mater, continuing its mission of serving society.

We appreciate your willingness and cooperation to be ‘In Touch’ with the Holy Crossian spirit, to extend ourselves and service beyond our little world, reaching out with the Christian Spirit of concern and care for others as well. The words ‘In Touch’ are also a reminder to “Only Connect” in life to God, to our Alma Mater, our family, friends, nature, and society at large.

Your connection/networking with Holy Cross College speaks volumes about your bonding and help rendered for the development of the college and the students. Your support for all college activities be it in funding for education of poor students or in sharing your expertise as resource persons for academics is noteworthy.

The general Annual Alumnae Meet held on the second Saturday of December is a special event organized to re-connect, renew and relive our sense of belongingness with gratitude. It also has a deep sense of spiritual significance during the advent season which is a prelude/preparation for Christmas.

I wish you a happy Re-union in person and in spirit and wish you and your family, the blessings of the Christmas Season and a Happy & Prosperous New Year. Let us radiate the love, joy, peace and sharing of the Christmas season to the poor and the needy. May they see Christ in our care and concern for them.

Together let us continue to serve others with love and work with commitment to become agents of social change.
