The Cross, the universal symbol of Christian faith, represents Christ’s triumphant victory over death. The Cross is the Tree of Life and Salvation, that reveals the liberating power of the Paschal Mystery. As we stand under the shadow of the cross, we derive love and strength to embrace the cross and to share our Saviour’s humane attitude and compassion with others.

The Lotus, our national flower, is a symbol of purity, enlightenment, rebirth and spiritual awakening. The lotus is unaffected by its muddy environment and reveals its pristine beauty, purity and splendor. The sight of the graceful beauty of the lotus fills our hearts with peace and joy. Similarly, the Crossians are able to rise above the murkiness of human life with resilience and reveal the beauty of life with a fascinating will to live and achieve success, through spiritual renewal and blossoming of one’s potential.
