MoE’s IIC was launched by Shri Prakash Javadekhar, Honorable HRD Minister on 21st November 2018 at AICTE Head Quarters, New Delhi which was organized by MHRD’s Innovation Cell. Holy Cross College (Autonomous), Tiruchirappalli has established Institution
Innovation Council (IIC) as per the Norms of Innovation Cell, MHRD, Govt. of India as Holy Cross Innovation and Incubation Council (HCIIC), Tiruchirappalli on 21st November 2018, to systematically foster the culture of innovation, IPR, entrepreneurship
and startup in the campus.

2018 – 2019: The Genesis
In this inaugural year, HCIIC took its first step by forming the IIC on September 7, 2019, with the aim of fostering innovation and entrepreneurship. This marked the beginning of a transformative journey.
2019 – 2020: Accelerating Innovation
HCIIC picked up speed and procured a 3-star rating during the scholarly year 2018-2019. This was trailed by a momentous accomplishment of 5 stars in 2019-2020, with a score of 95.83 and reward points of 55.8333. These awards featured their obligation
to supporting development.
2020 – 2021: Recognized Excellence
In the following scholarly year, 2020-2021, HCIIC kept up with its noteworthy advancement with a 4-star rating, procuring a score of 95 and reward points of 185.556. This steady development highlighted their commitment to encouraging a culture of advancement.
2021 – 2022: Continuous Support
HCIIC proceeded with its help for development by holding a 4-star rating in 2021-2022, with a score of 85.09 and reward points of 126.72. Their supported endeavours in advancing advancement and business were apparent.
Supporting Development and Starts ups:
Since 2021-2022, HCIIC has been instrumental in mentoring two colleges and three ATL schools. Moreover, two employees qualified as CCIO officials in 2020 and 2021. This obligation to mentorship and limit building has contributed fundamentally to their
prosperity.
Acknowledgments & Achievements
HCIIC got an appreciation letter from the Service of Training (MoE) for its praiseworthy administrations and exercises in supporting understudies and society through qualified IIC Advancement Representatives during the scholastic year 2021-2022. They

Promoting Student Innovation

Progression of the Infrastructure:
In February 2022, HCIIC extended its capacities by laying out the HCIIC Centre, crossing roughly 4,700 square feet. This best-in-class office furnished with state-of-the-art innovation, including drones, mechanical technology, IoT sensors, 3D printers,

Start-up Ecosystem
HCIIC's endeavours in supporting new businesses arrived at new levels during 2022-2023, with 68 new companies arising at model and item levels across different areas determined by YUKTI.
YUKTI Registration:
Under the YUKTI gateway, HCIIC enlisted an amazing 254 Thought/PoC level items by 2022- 2023, exhibiting the profundity and broadness of imaginative thoughts inside the foundation.
2023 – 2024
HCIIC is hereafter named as HCIICT; The Title HCIICT and the Logo are trademarked during this year which received 7 Trademarks.
