History
In the light of the radical and dynamic transition in the business world, with an aim of preparing the candidates to be industry ready, Holy Cross College (Autonomous), Tiruchirappalli, in association with TalentEase, started the commerce BPO program in the academic year 2018-2019. The department of Commerce BPO is a thriving academic department that offers students, unique blend of theoretical and practical training in the field of Business Process Outsourcing and the other branches of Commerce.
Uniqueness
The department provides focused and consistent modules on Practical English and workplace Communication throughout the course making the candidates industry ready.
A periodical hybrid classes with professionals with rich industry experience as Guest lecturers is a special feature of the department.
The department has a well-equipped and redesigned BPO lab. It also provides internship opportunities with leading BPO companies providing the students with valuable exposure to the industry and helping them develop the skills necessary to excel in the field. The Internships provided by our MoU partners, School of Business Skills and FINMARK help in the skill development of the students.
The Department ensures cent percent placement assistance by circulating the Placement Brochures of the outgoing batches among the various BPO firms in the industry.
