 Department Profile

BFSI professionals are the need of the hour, so in this context Holy Cross College (Autonomous) started the Commerce Vocational BFSI Programme in the academic year 2018 – 2019. The Programme generates trained manpower for the banking, financial services and insurance sectors. An MoU has been signed with Finmark Trainers India Pvt. Ltd., Chennai. The department has a well-equipped Investment lab to provide practical training for all the students in share trading using NSE Simulators. The department offers add-on NSE and NISM certificate Courses to enable them with various career prospects like Wealth Manager, Investment Banker, Stock Dealer, Financial Analyst.

Key milestone in the development of the Commerce Vocational (BFSI) programme:

It also provides internship opportunities with leading BFSI sector institutions to develop the skills necessary to excel in the field of banking, financial services and insurance. The students can be placed as Probationary Officers in Banking sector and Insurance sector. The department strives to create confident, socially responsible and ethically strong Entrepreneurs in BFSI sector.
