“IHS” stands for Iesus Hominum Salvator, Latin for “Jesus, the Saviour of Humans,” embodying the core of our faith.
The sword symbolizes St. Paul, reflecting his strength and missionary zeal, while the scroll with a cross represents his tireless work in spreading the Gospel.
The Holy Bible signifies the inspired Word of God, a guiding light for our path, as stated in Psalms 119:105: “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.”
The chalice and host represent the Eucharist, symbolizing the body and blood of Christ, central to our worship.
At the center, the heart connects these elements, radiating love and mercy to all humanity.
Our motto, “Segregati in Evangelium Christi” (Romans 1:1), translates to “Set apart for the Gospel of Christ,” encapsulating our mission to spread the Good News, inspired by St. Paul.
