A team of B.C.A students with the innovative project titled ‘Public Transport Tracking System’ was shortlisted among 37000 ideas submitted from 2235 institutions and 2,08,839 students and participated in the Grand Finale of *SMART INDIA HACKATHON 2019* (SOFTWARE EDITION) under the Student Innovation Category held at Guru Nanak College, Kolkata on 2nd and 3rd March 2019.

Out of 270 ideas !! 10 months of work, the team crossed 4 levels - Abstract level selection, Design Thinking Workshop, Ideation Camp & Boot Camp !! Team stood 4th place with a cash fellowship award of Rs.1 lakh in Tamil Nadu Student Innovators 2019 organized by Tamil Nadu Entrepreneurship Development & Innovation Institute (TNEDII).

Bagged the first place with the cash award of Rs.25000 in Jumpstart 2020 organized by Nativelead Foundation of angel investors and Young Indians Thoothukudi Chapter among 150 ideas.

Chemistry ‘A’ participated in the Startup Mania 5.0 organized by Native Lead, Young Indian, Technology Business Incubator at Kongu Engineering College & Confederation of Indian Industry and won a cash award of Rs. 10000 out of the 150 ideas registered, 25 ideas were shortlisted to take part in the prelims and top 10 ideas were shortlisted for the finals held on 19th December 2020.

Won a Cash fellowship award of Rs. 1,00,000/-in the Tamil Nadu Student Innovators 2020 on 10th August 2021 among 147 finalist teams in the Trichy Zone organized by Tamil Nadu Entrepreneurship Development and Innovation Institute for converting their innovative idea into Prototype.

The Team Registered a Startup Company “HAC Biodigestor” under Ministry of Micro, small & Medium Enterprises (MSME) and have received a grant-in-aid of Rs.2,00,000/- through the Innovation Voucher Program : Voucher A from Entrepreneurship Development & Innovation Institute(TN-EDII), Department of MSME, Govt. of Tamil Nadu for the development of the product along with a Company contribution of Rs. 61,000 on 30th September 2021.

Received a grant support of Rs. 5,00,000 with Incubation Linkage Support in the National Innovation Contest (NIC 2020) on 18thNovember 2021 among the 45 selected teams from 131 registered teams Nationwide organized by Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell, AICTE and IIC, New Delhi.
