Admission Procedure

  1. Applications for admission should be submitted in the prescribed form duly signed by the parent and the student.
  2. Parents must be present when the student is interviewed by the Warden before admission.
  3. Membership to the hostel lasts for **one academic year only**. Senior students must re-apply every year.
  4. No student may leave the hostel during the year without prior approval of the Parent, Principal, and Warden.

Rules and Regulations

1. Students must be present on the re-opening day. Those absent must report to the Principal and Warden.
2. No student should be absent from class without the Warden’s permission. Leaving the hostel on class days requires Principal’s permission.
3. Strict silence must be maintained during study hours: 6:00 p.m. – 7:15 p.m. and 8:15 p.m. – 7:15 a.m.
4. All students must attend the nightly assembly at 8:15 p.m. for roll call.
5. Absence from the hostel at night without permission will result in immediate suspension.
6. Day scholars and visitors are strictly not allowed in hostel rooms.
7. Suitcases, trunks, and rooms must be kept locked. The hostel accepts no responsibility for lost money or belongings.
8. Students are forbidden from keeping large sums of money or gold ornaments.
9. Water and electricity must be used sparingly. Students are responsible for the cleanliness of their room and surroundings.
10. Writing on walls, driving nails, or pasting pictures/photos on walls, doors, or windows is strictly prohibited.
11. Catholic students are expected to participate actively in daily Eucharist. All students must observe prayer and reflection time from 6:00 p.m. to 7:15 p.m.
12. Frequent requests to go home during the semester will not be entertained. Students may go home only on the dates specified in the parent’s handbook.

All complaints pertaining to the hostel and mess should be directed to the Superior and the Warden.
The Principal is the Chief Warden and takes care of the students’ studies and discipline.
