Holy Cross College has two NCC units viz :
National Cadet Corps 4(TN) Girls Battalion
National Cadet Corps 3(TN) Air Squadron (Tech)
The NCC 4(TN) Girls Battalion unit traces its history back to 1964, and later the other unit namely the Air Squadron unit came into existence in 1997.

To develop character, comradeship, discipline, leadership, secular outlook, spirit of adventure, sports man ship and ideas of selfless service among the youth of the country
To create a human resources of organized trained motivated youth to provide leadership in all walks of life and always available for service of the nation
To provide a suitable environment to motivate the youth to take up the carrier in the armed forces
In each academic year, the training programme of both the NCC units includes 80 hours (120 periods) of parades. Besides regular parades, the NCC units conduct various training Camps and select the cadets to attend Thal Sainik camp, Vayu Sainik Camp, Youth Exchange Program and the most prestigious Republic Day camp.
The cadets are also given training to pass B and C certificates. NCC cadets can get jobs more easily as compared to others. Private and public sector employers give company preference to the holders of 'B' & 'C' certificates.
Every year NCC cadets actively involve themselves for the various social service activities.
