LEO CLUB
The Leo Club of Holy Cross College is the youth wing of the LIONS CLUB OF TIRUCHIRAPPALLI THILLAINAGAR. The word L E O stands for Leadership, Experience, Opportunity. The Leo Club of Holy Cross College was started in the year 2017, under the guidance of the parent organization, the club aims at bringing about changes in the lives of the less fortunate. The club conducts various projects in the fields of health care, elders, children, disabled people, literacy and education. The club aims at developing leadership qualities and inspiring young minds to take up community service.
Vision:
The club has the vision of creating leaders who can become effective agents of social change.
Mission:
In accordance with the College, the club helps to create morally, intellectually, socially responsible and environmentally sensitive leaders.
Objectives:
To develop responsible citizens who serve the local, national and international community
To inculcate leadership abilities in the students
To serve the needy in all ways possible
To give students an opportunity to evolve as a person and give their passions a platform to become the best
Activities Undertaken:
The Leo Club organizes sessions on Developing Leadership Skills, conducts awareness programs on drug abuse, traffic, Swachh Bharat, Health & oral hygiene and workshop on personality development.
