    • The NAAC peer team visit for onsite assessment for IV cycle of Accreditation was held on 11 th & 12 th February 2020. Holy Cross College received A++ Grade with 3.75/4.

Disaster Management Club



The Disaster Management Club of Holy Cross College was started on 3rd July 2015 by the Department of Business Administration. The activities of the club has been extended for all the departments of the college from 8th September 2017 onwards.

Vision



Disaster Management Club seeks to enhance the capacity of society to prevent and manage disasters and to improve the livelihood of the poor and vulnerable in rural communities through effective disaster management, social mobilization and employment generation.

Objectives



  To empower the younger generation with skills to meet the crisis arising out of Natural and Manmade disasters

  To impart a sense of disaster preparedness among the students

  To instill the values and render volunteer services in disaster affected area

  To inculcate the spirit of collective action and joint decision making among students

  Skit -Awareness about Natural And Man Made Disasters

  Role play - Rescue Measures To Be Taken After Disasters Happen

  Practical education About Cardio Pulmonary resuscitation

  Drama about Hygiene Practices to be followed by Young Girls during disaster management

  Guest lectures on ways to reduce manmade disasters

  First Aid training
