    • The NAAC peer team visit for onsite assessment for IV cycle of Accreditation was held on 11 th & 12 th February 2020. Holy Cross College received A++ Grade with 3.75/4.

Consumer Club




The Consumer Club of Holy Cross College was established in the year 2004 as an extension activity of the Commerce department for the students of the Commerce and Business Administration departments. The services of the club was extended to all the students from all the other departments from 2017 onwards.

Objectives:



  To spread awareness about the rights and responsibilities of Citizens and Consumers as provided in the Constitution of India, the         Consumer Protection Act and other Indian laws.

  To instill concern for environment and develop sustainable consumption habits

  To develop confidence to question violations of consumer rights and fight for justice

Activities:



  Orientation on Consumer Rights and Responsibilities

  Orientation on Rights and Duties of Citizens of India

  Awareness programs on the Right to Information Act and procedures involved in filing a suit in Consumer Court, Unfair Trade       Practices

  Intra departmental competitions:

  Exhibitions highlighting consumer related issues and greener culture
