History

 The PG Department of Data Science, Holy Cross College, (Autonomous), Tiruchirappalli was started in the academic year 2021-2022. An interdisciplinary program spanning a period of two years, it integrates contributions from Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Mathematics and Statistics, to study and evaluate data. The Department aims at making young minds proficient in the rapidly emerging field of Data Science and strengthening their Career prospects by inculcating in- depth expertise in it. Data Science tends to lean more on Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing and Big Data.
