SOFT SKILL DEVELOPMENT



Soft skills, often called people skills or emotional intelligence, refer to the ability to interact amicably with others. Soft skills are personal attributes that can affect relationships, communication, and interaction with others. Soft Skills training also helps in relationship building and improvement of time management and organizational skills.

Holy Cross College (Autonomous) provides Soft Skill Training to students both at the Department and College level:

  • To enable them to be successful holistic individuals than being mere job seekers.
  • To empower students with strong work ethics and be organized, effective a team player with positive attitude and leadership skills.
  • To solve the problems creatively, handle conflicts and enable work-life balance

Around 12 Soft Skill Development programmes in 2018-19,

3 programmes in 2017-18, 7 programmes in 2016-17 , 4 programmes in the year 2015-16, and 2 programmes in  2014-15 were conducted.
