REMEDIAL COACHING



Holy Cross College (Autonomous) provides remedial coaching for slow learners to enhance learning skills and basic subject knowledge to reduce the number of dropouts and failures.

 Our college provide the present programme in most of the departments and the departments take in charge and carry out this programme based on the following objectives

Objectives

  • To help slow learners enhance their academic profile with paced learning styles
  • To strengthen the multiple skills in learning on a need-based framework
  • To assist first-generation learners with individual attention and learning resources and assessment

Process:

The Departments decide along with class teachers and teachers handling the papers where the students need more attention based on their performance in the previous test. The selected students were given extra reading hours and topics after the regular working hours and the teachers allotted monitor the learning process.  The table shown below displays the activities carried out by the respective departments.
